Established in the 1970s, Briggs Marine and Environmental Services supply services including; vessel charter, salvage and wreck removal, oil and gas terminal operations, environmental consultancy and International 24 hour emergency oil spill response service.
Offering a holistic service and innovative cost effective salvage solutions our expanding and diverse fleet of vessels and services complement our marine salvage solutions, including; wreck intervention and removal, towage, emergency salvage, oil removal, wreck survey and management, diving and subsea services.
Our ability to immediately respond can mean the difference between a dry or wet salvage. Salvage services and our highly trained oil spill response personnel deal with over 500 incidents a year covering industrial, coastal and offshore installations. We provide a rapid and cost effective 24 hours a day, 365 days a year service through our unrivaled combination of response bases and stockpiles of well-maintained oil spill response equipment.
We are also a leading international provider of response training (accredited by the Nautical Institute on behalf of the MCA, DECC and IMO), with prestigious clients including UK and European government agencies, International oil & gas companies, power generation companies and maritime organisations.
