The American Salvage Association is an industry association with the aims of improving salvage response and discussing and resolving issues common to the membership.

Issues of safety, insurance, increased training, adequate salvage assets, and responder immunity are high on the ASA agenda. The ASA and its members are committed to working together in a co-operative manner. A review of membership assets, in order to create a database of asset availability throughout the country, complements each member’s capabilities.

ASA members have the physical assets, experienced personnel, financial strength, insurability and a record of past performance that guarantees that the very best effort is being made to protect the environment and assure success in the shortest possible time.
