MFB, formerly known as More Fisher Brown, is a specialist shipping law firm which was established in 1988. The firm has expanded to 26 fee earners, of whom 12 are partners, and we recently moved to a new riverside office on the north bank of the Thames.
Our Admiralty/Casualty Response team, comprising of legally qualified Master Mariners, has extensive expertise in responding to maritime casualties on a worldwide basis. The firm regularly advises P&I Clubs, other insurers and salvors in relation to all aspects of accident investigation and response, including collisions, grounding, salvage and towage, fires, wreck removal, container losses, pollution, unsafe ports and resulting general average. We offer advice on BIMCO Wreck and Lloyd’s Open Form salvage contracts, and we select and work with lawyers and experts in the relevant jurisdictions as required.
