Biography
SALMO is a UK Ministry of Defence (MOD) organisation responsible for delivering specialist salvage and recovery operations in support of Defence objectives. Operating across the maritime domain, SALMO provides expertise in underwater engineering, emergency response, and capability assurance. Our remit includes the planning and execution of complex salvage tasks, support to uncrewed and offboard systems, and the delivery of technical solutions to protect critical Defence assets. We play a key role in ensuring operational resilience, safety, and readiness through rapid intervention and sustained engineering support.
